Designer and promoter Shanna McGarry has the experience, skills and resources to meet your marketing needs. A freelance professional based in Charleston, South Carolina, her background in design, promotions and event planning spans nearly a decade.

Shanna has studied print layout and design under Susan Mango Curtis, a former member of the Pullitzer Prize-winning design team at the Akron (Ohio) Beacon Journal. In web design, Shanna got her start under the instruction of Jill Blackman of the Chicago Tribune's interactive news department.

As public relations account executive at Lindstrom Beatty Communications in Chicago, Shanna served her docket of non-profit and arts clients in all capacities related to promotions: media relations, copy-writing, advertising design, direct marketing, event planning and coordinating, and market research. It was here that her interest and experience in print and digital design blossomed, and since she left that company in 2004 she has been consulting on a freelance basis with clients in Illinois, Wisconsin and South Carolina.
